"South Africa was a whole new experience for me."

The atmosphere in Dumisani was great. 

People went out of their way to make me feel at home.
I was a stranger in their midst and they smiled, asked, thanked, hugged – gestures which made me feel at ease and very much at home.

My experiences of God’s people working together for a common purpose were very positive. I realised that, despite the many differences, our unity in Christ was far more important.
